What's
New at The Waterfront Cafe
In 2007 we changed our name from Cafe Europa
to The Waterfront Cafe. The restaurant is still owned by the Gerber
family, who bought the restaurant 22 years ago. The name was changed
to better reflect the cuisine of the restaurant, which is contemporary American,
not European.
It speaks more to the kind of place we are and,
importantly, where we are...Waterfront! Surprisingly, for an island we have very few waterfront restaurants, and certainly none with a view like ours.
We have added some new menu items to our breakfast, lunch and dinner
menus. We are also now open all day from 9am to 10pm, serving three
meals with snacks and drinks in between. And we've extended early bird hours to 4-6pm.
Our Scoops ice cream concession has been
expanded to Scoops, Cookies and Drinks.
Also, we are refunding the $5 Sea
Pines Gate Pass fee with checks of $50 or more.
